摘要: In this talk, the notion of a ghost ideal in an exact category is introduced, and a theory of powers of a ghost ideal is developed. For an ordinal λ, the notion of λ-th inductive power of an ideal J is introduced, and it is shown that the λ-th inductive power of a ghost ideal is an object-special preenveloping ideal. The proof of this result is based on an Ideal version of Eklof's Lemma. This theory is applied to study the Generalized Generating Hypothesis in an exact category. In particular, it is proved that if the class of pure projective modules is closed under extension, then every FP-projective module is pure projective.

  报告人简介：扶先辉，东北师范大学数学与统计学院教授，研究方向是同调代数和代数K理论。研究成果发表于Adv. Math.、Proc. London Math. Soc.、J. Algebra、J. Pure Appl.Algebra等国际数学期刊，目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目。
