摘要: We survey the results on the existence and qualitative property of positive solutions to a class of coupled elliptic equations and some related problems. Due to various coupling mechanism different type of results on the solution structures are given for the attractive, repulsive and mixed cases, and along the way some questions are raised for further studies.

报告人简介: 王志强, 美国犹他州立大学教授、美国数学会会士，吉林大学1982年毕业，中科院数学所1984和1986年分别获硕士和博士学位。1986-1991在北京大学、纽约大学柯朗研究所、威斯康星大学、犹他大学博士后和访问学者。2014年当选美国数学会会士。王志强教授是非线性分析领域国际著名专家，在非线性分析、非线性微分方程等领域做出了具有重要影响的工作，特别是他关于极大极小方法、Morse 理论、拓扑度理论、分支理论、变分原理中的三临界点定理、带权Hardy-Sobolev 不等式极值函数对称破缺以及非线性Schrödinger方程临界集中现象的研究被认为是这些领域中的经典研究成果。
