摘要：Classical topological fixed point theory is concerned with the fixed point set $Fix f=\{x\in X \mid f(x)=x\}$ of a selfmap $f: X\to X$.The size of $Fix f$ is usually studied using the notion of fixed point classes following the work of J. Nielsen. When $X$ is a $G$-manifold, where $G$ is a finite group, and $f$ is a $G$-map, the set $Fix f$ is also $G$-invariant. We discuss the methods of studying $Fix f$ in the presence of a group action, by means of examples. We will also relate this equivariant theory with other classical problems.
