摘要:Anti-self-dual Yang-Mills (ASDYM) equations are extremely important equations in the intersection of quantum field theory (QFT), geometry and integrable systems. In particular, instantons, special solutions of them have played crucial roles in revealing nonperturbative aspects of QFT and have given a new insight into the study of the four-dimensional geometry [Donaldson]. Furthermore, It is well known as the Ward conjecture that the ASDYM equations can be reduced to many classical integrable systems, such as the KdV
eq. and Toda eq. [Ward, Mason-Woodhouse,...].
In this talk, we review the basics of the ASDYM eqs. from the viewpoint of integrable systems, and construct exact solutions by using some techniques among Backlund
transformations, Darboux transformations, Penrose-Ward transformations, and ADHM constructions etc.
报告人简介:Masashi Hamanaka,本科、硕士和博士毕业于日本东京大学物理系。曾受日本学术振兴会资助在东京大学物理所从事博士后研究工作,目前是名古屋大学终身副教授,曾先后在牛津大学和Glasgow大学进行长期访问。Hamanaka教授研究兴趣广泛,涵盖基本粒子物理学,数学物理,孤子,瞬子,可积系统,场论,弦理论和非交换几何等,其在JHEP, Nuclear Physics B, JPA, Physics Review D, PLB, Proc. R. Soc. A等高水平杂志上发表多篇学术论文。
